The Department of iRadiology and
Radiation Therapy covers the field of biological and physics science
applications in the sectors of medical imaging, nuclear medicine and
radiation therapy. The department mission is to promote the technology
and the science of Radiography, through training and applied research
and provide its graduates with skills for their further professional
career and development. The duration of studies is eight (8) semesters.
During the first seven (7) semesters the studies include theoretical
teaching, laboratory exercises, seminars, and clinical practica
experience. The last (8th) semester includes professional training in
the public or private sector. The students of the Department
additionally have to complete a Degree Thesis.

Here is an online listing of all classes offered by the Department of Radiology and Radiation Therapy at TEI of Athens.
The Diploma Supplement (DS) accompanies a higher
education diploma, providing a standardised description of the nature,
level, context, content and status of the studies completed by its
holder. It promotes transparency in higher education and fair and
informed judgements about qualifications. The Department of Radiologic
Technologits at TEI of Athens produce the Diploma Supplement according
to a template jointly developed by the European Commission, the Council
of Europe and UNESCO.
Samples of the Diploma Supplement (DS) given by the
Department of Radiologic Technologists at TEI of Athens are provided
